Organizing Indiana . . . Starts Here . . .

Who We Are

In early 2025, the Committee for Organizing Indiana, a Political Action Committee (PAC), launched Organizing Indiana as a resource hub focused on realizing a common challenge: many of us were doing important work across Indiana, but often in silos - disconnected from each other, duplicating efforts, and missing key opportunities for collective impact.

Our vision is simple: better alignment, not reinvention. Like a solar array, each of our organizations and networks is a vital panel. Some lead long-term campaigns, others power local action. But when the moment calls for statewide mobilization, we need a way to harness and direct all of our collective energy.

Cat Herding

If you've ever tried to work with multiple organizations with different agendas and different messaging and come away with a unified outcome, then you'll know what we're attempting to do. We don't need more busy work. We don't need to recreate the wheel. We need better alignment and coordinated mobilization across the many to address key community issues like healthcare, housing, education, and jobs.

The Power Of 3.5%

Organizing Indiana is all about building our 3.5%! We have a whole section dedicated to explaining what this is, and how it benefits us.

The Ecosystem

We’re building an ecosystem where everyday members - not just organizational staff - can connect across groups, share resources, and mobilize together. From coordinating calls to action to offering practical trainings like grant writing, we’re working to empower Hoosiers to act strategically, timely, and together.

It is how we overcome the Everything, Everywhere, All-at-Once EXHAUSTION.
